The overwhelming increase in the world
population and the trend which we can
expect in the near future make it
necessary for us to use every
environmental resource rationally,
starting with water, an essential
element for mankind. Thus, it is
mandatory to put the best techniques
into effect in order to eliminate
pollutants from water.
Chlorine Dioxide Generators
BI-O-CHLOR is a chlorine-dioxide
generator, fully wetoperated and thus
providing the safest work conditions -
which utilizes the reaction between
the hydrochloric acid (HCl) and sodium
chlorite (NaClO2), the outstanding
performance of the latter being
unrivaled in certain applications.
Both reagents are used at the
commercially available concentration
of 33% and 25%, respectively, allowing
an easier operation of the system,
saving of space and the remarkable
advantage of not having to handle
highly aggressive chemicals.
Diluition of products occurs directly
inside the reactor with not-softened
water. BI-O-CHLOR is the only
chlorine-dioxide generator using a
combined system in which the forced
admission of reagents and water is
operated while keeping the same
reactor under vacuum condition. This
makes it possible to meet the
following basic requirements: Accuracy
- Stability- Safety
Advantages offered by cholrine dioxide
The remarkable advantages provided by
the chlorine dioxide make this product
far more preferable for use in
disinfection processes than other
chlorine-based components
- Higher capacity of suppressing bad
odors and tastes.
- Higher degree of purification (5
times higher than chlorine by weight).
- Higher disinfection rate.
- Higher algae-killing power.
- Higher capability of suppressing the
reducing compounds.
- Higher capacity of oxidizing heavy
metals.
- Long losting oxidizing strength.
These advantageous characteristics
make dioxide chlorine rank higher than
chlorine for use in water treatment of
drains, swimming pools and wherever
water disinfection is required. The
residual chlorine
dioxide
analyzer for chlorine dioxide is
avalilable as an OPTIONAL.
All the com-ponents coming in contact
with the reagents and the chlorine
dioxide are made from materials able
to resist their aggressive action
AUTOMIX
Polyelectrolyte Dissolving System
Automix is a packaged plant consisting
of two main sections:
control and polymer metering unit
solution dissolving, aging and dosing
tank
The first section is made up of a
stainless steel hopper which contains
the powdered polyelectrolyte and is
provided with antibridge vibrator,
powder's min level probe,
timer-operated costant-flowrate
screwfeeder, pressure switch, solenoid
valve, water-intake flowmeter,
instantaneous powder-scattering water
jet-disperser, and a computerized
terminal box holding all electronic
devices for a fully automated
operation system.
The second section consists of a 1000,
2000, 5000 liters stainless steel tank
devided into three chambers by means
of gates, each of three chambers being
equipped with low-speed stirrers,
level probes and clumps-retaining end
filter, all of them in stainless
steel.
