In the 1960s, Fiorello Sodi, today Chairman of Sodi Scientifica, an admirer of Leonardo da Vinci and the great personalities of the Florentine Renaissance, created a speed camera called “Autovelox”. The device would become synonymous with speed enforcement nationwide; it entered the Italian lexicon and still represents a reference point for technology in this sector.
